Hey everyone! The next show will be on December 18 at DiCarlo's Mustard Seed. This show is a CD release event for Ryan Keene, but the last part of the show will be Lesa's singers performing various cover songs chosen by Fat Finger and also some original songs. Hello again! I gave the website a facelift. I was getting tired of the old one, so let me know what you think of the change.

I am still finishing things up for the upcoming CD release, but all the songs are now recorded. The remaining four songs will only be available on the CD, and I can promise you, they are amazing so be sure to purchase a copy! Please stay tuned for updates and I will talk to you again soon!

I have just uploaded 'Freaky D' a song I co-wrote with Stacey Young. I love this song and it's soooo much fun to sing! Please let me know what you think!

This was a great show! The sound was perfect, the singers were perfect, the band was perfect, the weather was not perfect, but we can't have everything be perfect, can we?

This showcase was called Sugar 'N' The Jam and it showcased some of Stacey Young's songs. She picked a great selection for this show and everyone really enjoyed themselves despite the weather.

Hello! My hiatus is over and now I'm back in the studio recording the rest of my songs. If all goes well, I should have some new tunes for you by the end of next month. I'm also planning on singing in the May show, so please keep watch on the site!

I have also decided to learn the bass guitar, and so far it's going pretty well. I'm catching on a little bit quicker on the bass then I was on guitar, so I hope I have found my niche in the land of stringed instruments!

Hi everyone! Just a quick little update for you; I just received word that I will be recording my next two songs by the end of October, and will send the next batch out for programming! I'm so excited!

This was the CD release of Emma Jo & The Poets Down Here, and this band rocks! I enjoyed every song they performed and highly recommend that you purchase their new album! Visit their website at www.emmajo.com.

This was also a "Girls Night Out" showcase and featured many of our female artists. There were some sound issues, but everyone recovered beautifully. Way to go!

This showcase will be a CD release for Emma Jo & The Poets Down Here as well as a spotlight for our upcoming artists. I will be singing backup vocals for this one. Please check the Calendar for ticket information.

I just recently received my next two songs from Gary, and I must say, he has done it again! Could there possibly be a CD release in November? Shhh...

Lesa never fails to deliver and awesome showcase! In my opinion, this was the best one so far. Everyone did a good job; the duets and groups sounded great; the solos were wonderful; and Darron Story, our emcee, was the perfect comedian.

There were so many great performances at last night’s show that I find it difficult to choose a few to review here!

I think, perhaps, Darron’s duet with RaeShell was my favorite moment. No rehearsals; their first time singing together on stage, I believe, and their rendition of “Endless Love” was both moving and beautiful.

I also enjoyed Marnie Brodzinski’s performance of “Hallelujah” by Kate Voegele. Marnie has such an amazing voice!

Mike Dale’s cover of Garth Brooks’s “More Than A Memory” was also very moving.

Dianna Redding covered the Fleetwood Mac song “Dreams” and did an exceptional job as well.

The group, Unrelated, consisting of Heather Beth, Miranda Q, and Jacqualine Rose, did a great job singing “Bleeding Love” by Leonna Lewis to close our show.

Thank you to everyone who came and supported us. Your dedication to us and support in all we do means more than words could ever express! Thank you!

This is a duet show with many VIP guests in attendence. We have a very special guest, too! Darron Story, the executive producer and host of the late night talk show "After Hours KC" will be emcee for our showcase! I will be singing one duet and one solo for this show, and will be performing some time after 10:30 PM by special request.

I must say, I love working with Fat Finger, Jan, and Bo tremendously! It's almost like we were all made for each other and our musical styles blend so perfectly. It is an honor and a joy to perform with them!

Everyone sounded absolutely perfect and confident in their ability. It was a very laid-back setting with lots of room for dancing (and many people did!). I really enjoyed singing at the Trouser Mouse and I hope I get to sing there again.

Please keep watch for my upcoming CD later this year. The next song is near completion, and the rest soon to follow. I will be releasing a three-track CD hopefully by the end of the summer.

In other news, I was just informed that my next song is near completion! I should receive the music for it in the next few days. Once I record the vocals, I will post the final version for your listening pleasure! I also have 8 other songs in the works! Whew! I've been busy!

Here is a brief update regarding the radio interview on Sunday, June 15. There will be several different performers being interviewed that day, including myself. The program begins at 10 AM on 90.1 FM. They will ask a few questions of each of us and then play our song. Please tune in and leave comments in the guest book!
